The most basic design services are geared towards folks who are primarily interested in receiving potential design ideas/suggestions or who are looking to D.I.Y. some exterior improvements themselves and need a plan to follow. The design service and deliverable package for work of this nature is usually arranged as a flat-fee paid via secure online portal upon completion of the work and typically falls under $1000 depending on the scope involved.

Anything more in-depth, such as a unique property feature like a custom designed gate, or a total redesign of a yard that requires a more elaborate deliverable package is conducted via a standard contractual agreement.
